Family Establishes MSCC Athletic Scholarship in Memory of Phillip Brick Sr.

The Brick family has established the Phillip M. Brick, Sr. Memorial Athletic Scholarship at Mid-South Community College in recognition of Phillip’s countless and selfless contributions to his family and community. Brick, 56, succumbed to cancer on Feb. 25.

“He was the ultimate sports fan (especially of the Arkansas Razorbacks), and he would be elated about this scholarship,” said his brother David Brick. “Phillip never liked people making a big fuss over him, but I’m sure he would be happy with this. I’m glad we can honor him in this way and keep his memory going.”
